Our Materials

Consciously crafted on this continent

We make honest clothing from materials that were headed somewhere worse. Knitwear from reborn cotton and recycled plastic bottles. Chore coats and pants from fabric we rescue in LA. Blue & Yellow make Green.

Recycled and rescued

Our knitwear is 98% recycled fiber: cotton from discarded clothing and textiles, polyester from plastic bottles. Our woven pieces are cut from surplus fabric we rescue in LA.

Made here, and we say where

Our knitwear is knit and sewn outside Toronto. Our rescued-fabric pieces are cut and sewn in LA. Our socks are made in North Carolina. Our recycled polyester yarn is spun in Spain, and we say so.

Close to the work

Our cutting and sewing happens in Canada and the US, which gives us closer control over wages, benefits and workplace safety.

Recycled & Respun Collection

Our knitwear starts with two things that shouldn't exist: discarded clothing and plastic bottles. We take the cotton from one and the polyester from the other, spin them into recycled yarn, and knit it into fabric outside Toronto.

Tees are 50% recycled cotton and 48% recycled polyester. Fleece and French terry are 59% recycled cotton and 39% recycled polyester.

How our Recycled & Respun Collection is Consciously Crafted

Rescued & Revived Collection

Some fabric never becomes a garment. Mills and manufacturers run out of time, space or orders, and the surplus is burned or buried. We find that fabric in the LA Apparel District, cut and sew it in LA, and make limited runs. When the yardage runs out, the run ends.
